Källängen School is a 1950s school located in northern Lidingö, with just over 700 students in grades 4-9. Nature is close at hand, while the school is only a 5-minute bus ride from Ropsten. We are divided into six grade-level work teams, each led by a team leader. Our results make us one of the country's absolute best municipal schools and perhaps one of the most pleasant places to work!

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher here, you teach our academically motivated students in an stimulating environment. Your task as a teacher is to provide the guidance and stimulation that students need in their learning and personal development, based on their own prerequisites. We work, among other things, in the school platform SchoolSoft, Google Workspace for Education, and Classroom.

At our school, you work together with knowledgeable, experienced, and pleasant colleagues in a well-functioning operation with clear goals. As a teacher, you are responsible for all your students' progress and goal achievement in accordance with the governing documents. You care that all students reach their full potential both as a mentor for your class and as a teaching teacher. At Källängen, you collaborate with a colleague in the subject and with the municipality's other home economics and consumer knowledge teachers in subject networks. The teaching in Home Economics and Consumer Knowledge (HKK) is conducted in grades 6, 8, and 9.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and who would like to have experience in the teaching profession. You are accustomed to working in various digital systems and see digitalization as a natural and integrated part of teaching. As a person, you can and want to collaborate with other people in a listening and smooth manner. You are self-reliant and can set up and maintain timeframes in a structured and efficient way.

You should be able to lead, motivate, and create engagement to increase students' desire and interest in learning. We expect you to contribute with great commitment, a professional attitude, and that you take initiative to constantly develop yourself and the operation.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement. The position is a vacancy during Autumn Term 2026 (HT26).
